Raw Water Storage Transfer Pipeline | Numurkah, Victoria
Client: Goulburn Valley Water
Value: $600,000
NL Drainage was chosen to complete a 4.5km transfer pipeline, taking raw water from the outskirts of Numurkah to the existing Numurkah Water Treatment Plant. Construction of the 300mm diameter pipeline was built using a combined method of open excavation and directional boring. Installation of the bored section was approximately 1200 metres along built up areas within the township, under roads and open drains. The remaining section was open trenched along a road reserve. The installation of the pipeline accompanied a 280ml raw water storage dam constructed by others.
Within the contract period of 18 weeks NL Drainage had completed the works.
